I am participating in a photography training course for teachers

Last week, the CAUE du Gard hosted a training session at its Nîmes premises for teachers from the Montpellier academy as part of the "Aux Arts, photographes!" photography competition open to primary and secondary school classes.

The theme of the fifth edition of this competition is on artworks, in the broad sense of the term, that can be found in public spaces.

The aim of this day was to give teachers ideas for reflection and action with their middle and high school students in this phase of preparation for the competition in which many of them are planning to participate.

In the morning, I first presented to them my narrative journey combining photography and perfumery as well as the numerous multi-sensory activities that I conduct with different audiences including children.

Then in the afternoon, it was during a photographic outing around the Nîmes Arena and in the garden of the Museum of Romanity, that I gave advice and recommendations on the practice of composition in photography.

Back at the CAUE premises, while viewing the photos taken by the teachers during the outing, I gave them practice advice with their students.
