Slow Life in the Olfactif box
After Underworld, Impermanence, Meandering Soul and Memory Lane, the perfume box subscription service Olfactif is introducing its subscribers in the United States and Canada this September to the fragrance Slow Life, inspired by photos taken in Okubo, an isolated hamlet in the Japanese Alps where I spent a month in an artist residency.
"This fragrance truly expresses the concept of slow life in liquid form." Olfactif
As Cindy Chapelle sums up so well, the Slow Life movement invites us to slow down the pace, reconnect with simplicity, take time for ourselves (listen to our body), give time to others (enjoy time with family, create social bonds), (re)connect with nature (get our hands dirty, integrate eco-responsible gestures, do activities in nature), awaken our senses, develop our creativity and savor the present.
