Botanical description	The clove tree is a tree that can reach up to twelve meters in height. Its flowers are composed of four white or pink petals and red sepals. The flower buds called "cloves" are harvested before they hatch. They are then dried in the sun and take on a dark brown color.
Olfactory description	Its yellow to light brown essential oil gives off a woody and spicy scent.
