Botanical description	Copal is a shrub or small tree that can grow up to 7.5m in height. Its aromatic resin, obtained by excision of its trunk, is traditionally used for rituals and for the manufacture of incense .
Olfactory description	Its light yellow essential oil, extracted from the resin, gives off a resinous, fresh, zesty and woody odor.
