Botanical description
Ginger is a herbaceous perennial plant about 0.90 m to 1 m high from a rhizome that is used in cooking and traditional medicine. This endemic variety owes its name of Blue Ginger to this light blue-gray tint that it takes on when cut.
Olfactory description Its organic essential oil, pale yellow to brown in color, obtained by distillation of fresh rhizomes, gives off a spicy, citrusy and fresh odor .
