ABOUT THE SHOOTING
This photograph was taken at Okubo, an isolated hamlet in the Japanese Alps where I stayed a month in a traditional house converted into artists' residence. After months of frenzy, I was catapulted overnight in a slowness that made me lose the ground under my feet.
Green expanse causing suffocation. Humid heat provoking exhaustion. Weakness blow facing the oppression of so much Nature. Another rhythm prevails. Everything is to be learned. Everything is to be unlearned.
